Hello!

Grief is often seen as something to get through, something to overcome.

But what if it’s something else? What if grief is an opening—a threshold to something deeper, a space where transformation begins?

In the rawness of loss, there is also a doorway. A chance to meet yourself in a new way—to feel, to heal, and to reconnect with what matters most.

Jessica Bowen grief therapist in seattle Washington

Hi, I'm Jessica

My work centers on the places where grief, loss, and life’s harder seasons ask something new of us.

Where the stories we’ve carried about who we are, what we’ve lived, and what we’ve lost begin to shift and open.

So often beneath anxiety, numbness, overwhelm, or feeling stuck, there is a grief that hasn’t yet been witnessed.

Grief for what changed too quickly, what ended before we were ready, or what never had the chance to fully form.

Here, we take our time.

We meet these experiences with respect, curiosity, and care, not to fix them, but to understand what they’re pointing toward.

When grief is tended to, something in us reorganizes. There’s more room for clarity, for coherence, for a steadier connection to ourselves and our lives.

Shared Experiences of This Work

"There’s a depth to Jessica’s presence that you can feel right away, like she truly knows grief, not just professionally, but in her bones. Her warmth and grounded wisdom made me feel completely held, and at the same time, she doesn’t shy away from the harder truths. She has a gift for helping you see the unconscious patterns that are keeping you stuck, and she does it with so much clarity and compassion. I’ve never felt more supported, or more seen, in my healing.”  -KC
